League City Masonic Lodge – Lamar Scholarship

It is with great pride that League City Masonic Lodge #1053 honors students from the Clear Creek ISD. We award scholarships each year to high school seniors from Clear Creek High School, Clear Falls High School, and Clear Spring High School. Generally, awarding 1 scholarship per high school for each graduating class.

This scholarship is designed to be awarded to a deserving student of the public-school system of Texas who has shown great achievement and demonstrates high moral character, values and personal attributes consistent with those promoted by the Grand Lodge of Texas (i.e., academic work, overcoming a handicap, citizenship, volunteer work in the community, sports, or any other outstanding personal accomplishment.)

Applications will be accepted from November 1st until the end of the first week in January, after returning from winter break, of each given year. As applications are submitted, students will receive an email confirmation within 5 to 7 working days that their properly completed application has been received. If a student does not properly complete the application, they will not receive notification and should resubmit the application.

As part of this activity, we hold an awards dinner and presentation of the Mirabeau B. Lamar Award for the student, their family, and friends in late April. Additional details will be provided upon selection and notification of the scholarship recipient.
