Mirabeau B Lamar Scholarship
Each year League City Masonic Lodge presents “The Lamar Award of Excellence for Personal Achievement” to honor any deserving student and/or employee of the public school system.
A successful candidate will have demonstrated high moral character and values while having great personal achievement. Such as academic work, overcoming a handicap, citizenship, volunteer work in the community, sports, or any other outstanding personal accomplishment.
The winning students of this award receive a scholarship to attend any university of their choice. The winning employee gets a cash award. Both are presented with medals and certificates to memorialize their achievements.
Each year Texas Masonic Lodges honor students and public school faculty by giving thousands in scholarships and cash awards across the state of Texas.
